In honor of Spring, we (Jonathan and I) invited some friends over to listen to a story.
{Mainly because I HAVE to read a book EVERYDAY!}
And we all planted little sunflower seeds into dixie cups, (using up all the left-over seedlings and dirt pellets from my classroom).
Of course we had ample time to "just play" as well...
And, bc I am insane, I made little gummy worm dirt cups for all the little "bugs"... It was a very wise choice to plant the seeds AND THEN introduce the dirt cups! I didn't want anyone eating dirt on my watch!

TOUCH A TRUCK
I love the Cheshire sponsored TOUCH A TRUCK! IT IS HANDS DOWN my favorite event of the year (yet).
Unfortunately, I AGAIN had to babysit (this time for two children). Which meant I was pulled in THREE different directions...
Jonathan misses out a lot when I have to babysit on the days of events...
Thankfully June is only right around the corner!
Of course I left my camera in the car and couldnt take any pictures!!!

Spring Break Kite Flying!
What I love about Spring, moreso than the BEAUTIFUL weather is Spring Break!
Every year Cheshire sponsors several events for little people to do, and I loved it last year, even though Jonathan was too little to do anything.
Today we attempeted to go to the kite flying event, but unfortunately since I had to babysit, we had a late start. We were able to see only a few kites flying, but thankfully we were able to still see the new park and take FULL advantage of all the brand new equipment!
