While trying to find ways to make extra money, Matt stumbled accross a need for an "Everybody Loves Raymond" sort of close-knit, close-by family.
And of course we applied..
It took about two months before we heard anything and finally they sent him an email stating that we made it to "round two" and they wanted to know more about us.
Matt completed some survey thing asking some weird questions and then had to send them a bunch of pictures.
I hope we get it!
Of course since we took about thirty pictures and couldnt get ONE right, I didn't think that was such a good sign!

Kissy Face Day
I just cannot get over the whole not-being-in-school-teaching thing yet...
So today, Jonathan and I invited Julie and Jenn over (of course Avery, Jarret, Aiden and Eric came as well) and I read "The Kissing Hand".
My little audience was CAPTIVATED... ha! I think I spent the most of the time reading to myself, but I enjoyed myself.
Once I was done torturing the children with my story-book reading, we made our own "Kissing Hand".
They all came out pretty cute and I am sure I will keep Jonathan's forever!

GREAT TIMING
We were going to go back to the hotel for a nap when we decided, maybe to see if we could hit up some more characters before napping. And since we were on a mad-dash to find Jonathan a Minnie Mouse to smooch, the parade was a perfect time to search...
We stumbled on purpose through a meet and great section of Animal Kingdom RIGHT BEFORE the characters were switching, so we were FIRST in line nearly EVER time!

Happy FIRST trip little bug!
Meet and Great
DISNEY VACATION
Our flight was early and hard, but still smooth and fast. Jonathan slept pretty much the whole time even though he was super excited about going in the airplane. He was definately the best behaved little boy ON THE PLANE, waiting to get on, not so much... But could the airport security people make it any MORE difficult to fly with a toddler? I think not!
Over all it was avery smooth trip down, AND when we got to the airport in Florida, we zipped right on a bus and straight to the hotel. The only bump in the road was Jonathan peeing through his clothes all the way through Matt's clothes as well...
Good thing I was a prepared mommy (change of clothes right in my back-pack)!
Once we pulled up to the hotel, Matt told me he upgraded us to Carribean Beach (I had an inkling, since he was being waaaaayyy to eager to explain everything).
All in all a sweet UNEXPECTED surprise! AND a PIRATE ROOM to boot!
Our room was about a mile away from the main building which meant we had to ride another bus over, and when we got there the room key DID NOT WORK!
Crazy! Jonathan desperately needed a drink, a change and a nap, which was not helped by waiting in the heat for someone to come and open the door for us! UGH!
Once we were settled and rested we ran out for our first reservations of the trip, and good thing since WE WERE STARVING! HELLO MEAL PLAN!!!
When we did return the room was all set up for us and Jonthan went exploring!
Here he is in a rampant of "What's that?"
