Happy BIRTHDAY to Jonathan!

It's tricky having a birthday on Christmas Eve...
But we do our BEST to pull it off!
For the little bugs THIRD, we gave him a BUZZ light-year remote control toy, (VERY COOL), a Mr. Prickle-Pants stuffed animal and the bluray for Toy Story 3.
He seemed to LOVE everything, and Trina-Bean did too!

We went to Dooney's Party

at Monkey Business in Watertown.
The poor kid ended up having a party in a torrential downpour! Jonathan and I braved the storm, and left Trina home with Daddy so we could jump around like loons at the party!
Jonathan followed directions so well and ate his cake and used appropriate manners. He was a sheer joy, to the point that the teacher asked me if I was interested in signing him up for classes... I was so proud!

Christmas Pictures for Daddio

I was EXTREMELY disappointed with Jonathan's behavior when we ALL went to get our pictures taken at my aunt's and uncle's photography studio (Fallon Photos)in Wolcott. He was not super fresh, but he refused to take pictures alone and wouldn't stay still long enough for a good series of family photos...
I am certain they will be able to select a bunch of good ones, but just in case I scheduled some additional photos to be taken at J C Penney, especially since I had a really GREAT deal coupon. I knew the quality wouldn't be as good, but I just couldn't pass it up...

I am so happy that Jonathan is actually 'old' enough to help in the planning of his own birthday party this year... It's bitter-sweet really.

theme... So I am (insert sarcastic tone) FULL of ideas for that one!

I did however, manage to have him "dress the part" for his birthday invitation pictures.

WORST Halloween EVER!!!!!

Jonathan and I planned for weeks and weeks how Halloween was going to work....BUT he was stricken with a MISERABLE cold and had a terrible reaction to the FLU vaccine. He was so excited to be a be, and this would have been the FIRST year that Halloween would have actually been anything memorable, BUT he just couldn't do it. He put on his costume saw his grandparents and passed out on the couch....
