Cape Cod 2010; Day 1:

We left a little late, since Matt was on-call for HSI until 8:00AM., But, we were able to stop and drop everything off on our way up, and Jonathan was thrilled to see where Daddio works AND of course try out the potty.
Katrina and I had to wait in the car, so the "boys" moved quickly. From what we heard (and know about Jonathan), he made a ruckus and stole the show....
I spent most of the time completely paranoid that I had forgotten Katrina's medicine and thus feeling like a terrible mother.
Most of the ride was quick and painless, the kids and I slept...we took a brief potty, stretch and snack break an hour in, and were awake the rest of the way (except Mouse).
Unfortunately about 6 miles from the bridge, on came the standstill traffic, TWO hungry, loud children, fellow traffic-stuck-drivers blasting profanity-ridden music, heat and one dog with scratchy, whiny; tendencies.... UGH, you'd think it was still June....
Thankfully we arrived safely within an hour of our estimated time, got everyone happy, full and playing!
